Join us for CAI-Channel Islands Chapter's Local Legislative Action Day - Thursday, August 10, 2017, 10:30 am The Legislative Action Committee of CAI-Channel Islands Chapter is hosting a local Legislative Action Day with the opportunity to let your voice be heard with our legislators! We invite you to ride with us on the “Leg. Bus” as we visit three offices in Ventura County. If you are only able to make some of the appointments, you are welcome to meet us at the appropriate office. Itinerary - 10:30 am          Meet at The Courtyard Marriott (Oxnard) to discuss effective advocacy, what to expect when meeting with legislatures and how your voice can be heard 11:30 am          Meeting with Assemblywoman Jacqui Irwin (Camarillo office) 12:30 pm          Arrive back at The Courtyard Marriott (Oxnard) for lunch 1:30 pm            Meeting with Senator Hanna Beth Jackson’s Office (Oxnard) 2:45 pm            Meeting with Assemblywoman Monique Limon (Ventura) 3:45 pm            Event Concludes Although you may not live in a particular district, the experience of meeting with various legislatures will better equip you to reach out to your district and learn how you can effectively protect your investment in the HOA industry.
