HOA, COUPLE SETTLE DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT FOR $109,000

The Sonora Springs HOA in Sacramento, Calif., must pay $109,000 to a couple who accused the HOA of discrimination. The couple filed a complaint with the state Department of Fair Employment and Housing after the board neglected to fix the pool lift that would have granted access to the husband, a 77-year-old disabled former US Marine pilot. - The Sacramento Bee (CA)
